Why am I at the gym? Where did the days go where I could just eat everything and not get fat? It’s not fair. I’m only 21 and there’s still people my age that don’t put on any weight. I’ve literally put on 2 dress sizes in the last 2 years. I totally blame it on university… Eating takeaways because of my lack of cooking skills has done this to me.
Don’t get me wrong, the gym is a brilliant way to keep fit, but I do wish that I didn’t have to come. I remember at 16 I was so enthusiastic about getting a gym membership, I thought it was such an amazing thing to do. However, now that I have to do it, it’s no fun.
I’ve been coming with my mother everyday for the last 5 days. First day was obviously the hardest – today I’m feeling quite fit! I’ve been on the crosstrainer and I’m currently blogging from the bike and I’m exactly 270 calories down. That burns off the cake I had yesterday – I think! The treadmill is my pet hate, it makes my legs hurt!
Everyone reading must think I’m such a moany cow, I promise I’m not!
